NICORETTE® QuickMist can be used in diabetics. However, you should monitor your blood sugar levels more often when starting to use NICORETTE® QuickMist as you may find your insulin or medication requirements alter. Talk to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist for advice. NICORETTE® QuickMist is sugar free (does not contain sucrose) and contains sweeteners sucralose and acesulfame potassium (also known as acesulfame K).
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding and you have tried to give up smoking without NRT but didn’t succeed, you may be able to use NRT formats that are taken intermittently including NICORETTE® QuickMist as a safer alternative to smoking. However, as medicines can affect your baby, you should always talk to your doctor, nurse or pharmacist for advice before taking NICORETTE® QuickMist.
If breastfeeding, breast-feed just before you use NICORETTE® QuickMist to ensure that the baby gets the smallest amount of nicotine possible.
